After a successful career in agriculture in Katanning, Steve Blyth moved into the city to take up a position ad a biosecurity auditor.
Steve has held positions as chair on the Katanning Senior High school board, lecturer at the Great Southern Institute of TAFE and treasurer of St Patricks Primary school. Steve is a strong advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to his community Steve was awarded Katanning Citizen of the Year in 2009.
Steve was previously managing director of the Blyth Tree farm - a successful horticulture business Steve has built from the ground up. He is also a board member and Vice Chair of the Southwest Catchments Council and a mentor for the Master Tree Growers Group of Melbourne.
He has strong knowledge and experience in the environment, education, health, small business and tourism sectors, and wants to make sure Pearce is represented by a strong Nationals candidate.
